Overview
GroomizFabricpartners with vetted logistics providers to ensure secure, timely, and traceable delivery for bulk fabric consignments. This policy explains order processing, dispatch timelines, packaging standards, freight responsibilities, and the process for handling logistics exceptions. We prioritise predictable delivery windows and transparent freight practices to support manufacturing schedules and retail replenishment plans.
Processing times and lead times
Order processing begins after order confirmation and receipt of any required deposit or advance payment. Lead times vary by fabric type, order complexity, and current production schedules. Typical dispatch windows range from 7 to 21 business days for stocked items; customized fabrics or large dyeing/finishing orders may take longer. We provide realistic lead-time estimates in the quotation to help buyers plan production runs.
Packaging and handling
Fabric rolls and bundles are packed using industry-standard moisture-resistant and abrasion-proof materials. Rolls are banded, labelled with SKU and batch details, and palletised for bulk shipments where required. For home-furnishing or fragile finished items, additional internal protection is applied to avoid creasing or surface damage in transit.
Shipping, freight responsibilities, and tracking
Unless otherwise agreed, shipping charges and any applicable duties, taxes or local clearance fees are the buyer’s responsibility. We offer multiple freight options—courier, surface transport, and full-truckload—based on order size and destination. Tracking references are shared once consignments are handed to the carrier, and our logistics team assists with carrier follow-up if exceptional delays occur.
Partial shipments and split consignments
Large orders are sometimes dispatched in multiple consignments to expedite partial receipt and reduce warehouse congestion on the buyer’s side. Each shipment will have its own tracking and accompanying documentation. Buyers should coordinate local receiving capacity and warehousing to accommodate staggered arrivals.
Exceptions, claims, and delivery discrepancies
If transit damage or short-supply is suspected, buyers must notify GroomizFabricwithin 48 hours of receipt with supporting evidence. We will work with the carrier and buyer to investigate and resolve claims. Delay events outside of our control—such as strikes, force majeure, or customs hold-ups—are managed through proactive communication and collaborative remediation planning.
Our commitment
We aim to maintain delivery predictability and transparent freight accounting so that buyers can plan production, merchandising, and inventory confidently. GroomizFabricis committed to a practical, buyer-friendly shipping process that protects product quality and supports efficient operational flows.
